Sterling Trading Company Started a long time ago as a custom hand embroidery business. After a trip to the bay area, it quickly turned into a leather business. Chelsea found a 1970s Al Stohlman leather tooling kit in an antique store, bought it and drove down to her moms house where she would set up a studio on the dining room table and teach herself everything from the vintage pattern books. Later she would move her studio and life to Colorado, fast forward one baby, house and store front later, Sterling Trading Co is proud to produce quality goods down in the heart of the South West. All goods are made in her home studio in the southern Colorado mountains.
